Yoink for iPhone has been submitted to Apple

Woohoo! Yoink will be available for iPhone very shortly and has some killer features we're sure you'll love:
  • Find free items near you by browsing the map.
  • Effortlessly give things away by snapping a photo from inside the app, writing a quick description and we'll work out your suburb from the inbuilt GPS.  It makes giving something away practically instant.
  • Communicate with other members right inside the app to organise collection and pick-up of free items
  • Get realtime directions to pick up things that you've Yoinked!

Stay tuned to our tweets @Yoink and right here on the blog, we'll let you know as soon as it has been approved.

Surprise! Yoink is now in open beta.

While most of the world is frantically buying gifts or cooking great feasts, we are happy to announce Yoink is now in open beta. It's our way of saying Happy Holidays! 

It's in the best interest of our community to charge past a prelaunch and get everyone engaged in the real service.  We'll be making more announcements in the new year but for right now, check out Yoink and let us know what you think:
